Matthew Moses’ experience
Matt is an expert on the laws governing funds management in Australia, with experience across the funds management, financial services, and real estate industries.
With over 25 years of experience, Matt has worked with McMahon Clarke (now Hall & Wilcox), and Hamilton Locke and as in-house legal counsel for key industry players. He joins MARQ Trustees from his previous position as Head of Legal at Prime Super.
Matt excels in structuring and establishing investment funds and financial products, and is well-versed in all facets of corporate law, fundraising, ongoing fund operations, governance, compliance, and risk management.
His expertise is underpinned by a commercial approach and a comprehensive understanding of stakeholder needs.
The General Counsel role
As the General Counsel for MARQ Trustees, Matt has a pivotal role in streamlining legal documentation and processes, particularly in the establishment of investment funds.
This integration will accelerate internal workflows and enhance our responsiveness to clients’ needs.
